Quick set up
The Bosch DCN wireless discussion system is designed to be the most flexible discussion system available and offers the perfect solution for challenging locations such as multi-user venues and historical buildings.

HIGHLIGHT ON LIVE! TECHNOLOGIES’ CREATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND THE ARNOLD SPORTS FESTIVAL

Each year, LIVE! Technologies’ Creative Services department writes, produces and edits a seven minute promotional DVD about the Arnold Sports Festival. Festival organizers recruit sponsors and vendors, educate civic leaders and visitors, and encourage new sporting associations to become a part of the weekend through this DVD.

Capturing so many events over the course of four days is no easy task. Three different video production crews follow a detailed shooting schedule and script, in order to cover all of the sports.

“We try to identify athletes ahead of time that will be great ambassadors of their sport on camera, and we make sure to schedule interviews with them, as well as video tape their competition. But my favorite part about producing the DVD is finding inspiring stories along the way… like an athlete that wasn’t expected to place suddenly makes it to the final round…then we drop everything we can to send a video crew to capture their moment.”
- Anna Headley, Creative Services Manager, LIVE! Technologies

With 18,000 athletes from over 80 countries competing in 37 sports and events, festival organizers and LIVE! Technologies brainstormed this year to create a visual symbol that would show the magnitude and excitement of the weekend.

“We wanted a moment… a sort of opening ceremony…that included representatives from all the sports. Arnold, himself, tries to visit each sport, but this year we decided to have the athletes come to him. And we made sure that the cameras were rolling!”
- Stephanie Lorenz, Promotional Director, Lorimer Enterprises

Once the weekend is over, LIVE! Technologies’ Creative Services editors will review nearly 72 hours of footage in order to find the best moments to be included in the seven minute DVD. With so many stories to tell, LIVE! will also create three-minute web videos that highlight specific sports.

“LIVE! Technologies partners with Lorimer Enterprises all year long to develop branding, marketing and communications for the festival…our Creative Services producers, artists and editors don’t just reflect on 2010… but think about how to tell the story of the weekend for many years to come…through print, web, and video.”
- Anna Headley, Creative Services Manager, LIVE! Technologies

The Event That Attracts The World
For over two decades LIVE! Technologies has provided the audio, video, lighting and staging for the Arnold Sports Festival. With 37 sports and events, the Arnold Sports Festival invites nearly three times as many athletes as the Olympics. Whether it is designing stages and sets, developing branded materials or capturing the entire weekend on HD video, LIVE! Technologies is THE turnkey production company for the entire weekend.

This year’s main stage competition, the Arnold Classic, featured an Aztec-inspired set. Bodybuilding athletes entered from the center of the stage, through actual fire, to custom composed music. LED Mitrix video panels displayed each competitor’s name, as well as custom motion graphics. The set was highlighted with dynamic moving lights and lasers.

In addition to Saturday night’s main stage at Veteran’s Memorial, LIVE! Technologies also provides audio, video, lighting and staging for the Arnold Sports Festival at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The Arnold Expo contains700 vendor booths and features a competition stage constructed and managed by LIVE! Technologies. This year’s Expo stage featured a brand new backdrop developed by the artists at LIVE! Technologies.

LIVE! Technologies fulltime technicians, craftspeople and artists spend months developing the look and feel of the weekend. They take great pride in producing an event that attracts the best athletes from around the world to Columbus, Ohio.

TECHNOLOGIES IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE BEEN SELECTED AS A FINALIST FOR THE 2010 CORPORATE CARING AWARDS
Both LIVE! Technologies’ Rental Production and Systems Integration departments are dedicated to Y.E.S. (Year of Exceptional Service). In these tough economic times, LIVE! Technologies strives to support our clients through service despite tight budgets. We recognize that Non-profits feel the pinch more than ever. While reviewing our sales strategy for 2010, we realized that we have always been supportive of our Non-profit clients and will continue to find innovative solutions to supply the biggest bang for their buck! By being selected as a finalist for Business First’s 2010 Corporate Caring Award Program, we are recognized for our business philosophy.

Non-profits must host gala events and fundraisers to survive. Donors who attend these events have an expectation of creativity, entertainment and seamless production… this is exactly what LIVE! Technologies provides. Each year, we must bring new, cost-effective ideas to each of our non-profit clients.
We understand that smaller non-profits must receive the same quality of labor and equipment as our larger corporate clients. We develop budgets based on their vision and then consult with them on how to economize. What is unique about LIVE! is that we always include an in-kind donation with our consultation. We believe in the work that each of our non-profit clients is doing, and we never want to sacrifice the quality of their production or installation. So we may in-kind anywhere from 5% to 20% to make sure the job is executed right, looks amazing, and supports our client’s cause!
Our contributions range from economic and technology development in Central Ohio to children’s causes to green building initiatives. As an audio, video, lighting and staging production company, we have long standing relationships with almost all of the arts organizations in Central Ohio. From the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, CAPA, the Wexner Center, and Ballet Met, LIVE! Technologies supplies equipment and labor support to most of the productions and venues in and around Central Ohio.

Columbus, Ohio - For nearly 30 years, Mid-Ohio Food Bank has been working with grocers, food companies, Ohio farmers, the USDA, and community partners to obtain food and distribute it to more than 500 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs, and senior housing sites across central and eastern Ohio.

Four years ago, Mid-Ohio Food Bank realized their facility would need to grow in order to handle the demands of the community. A capital campaign was established and funds were quickly raised. Luckily, Mid-Ohio Food Bank opened their new facility just in time for the 2009 holiday season!

Because advocacy, education and training are key components of Mid-Ohio’s mission, their advisory board understood the need to outfit their state-of-the-art, green facility with audiovisual capabilities. And LIVE! Technologies Systems Integration department was ready for the challenge!

The new facility not only has triple the warehouse and refrigerated space, it also provides three times more space for volunteers. The new community room, with a commercial kitchen, is one-of-a-kind in Central Ohio. With seating for over 350 people, LIVE! designed and installed audio and video capabilities for large presentations and cooking demonstrations. Cameras capture the details of food preparation in the kitchen, and projectors display the chef’s work on large screens for the audience. All audiovisual components are seamlessly linked and controlled by a central rack.

Businesses can volunteer their time for the food bank, as well as hold team building and off-site meetings in multi-purpose rooms located throughout the building. LIVE! made sure to fit each of these rooms with large LCD monitors, speaker systems and control panels for audiovisual presentations.

From learning labs to green technology to feeding hungry people in their greatest times of need, LIVE! Technologies takes pride in being the Mid-Ohio Food Bank’s audiovisual design, installation and service partner.
