Columbus, Ohio – This year’s Arnold Sports Festival featured 37 events, including 12 Olympic sports, and utilized the latest in event production and staging from LIVE! Technologies.

The Arnold Sports Festival counts on LIVE! Technologies to provide staging and production services for multiple venues across Columbus, including the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Veteran’s Memorial, and the Ohio State Fairgrounds. Complete sound, lighting, and video packages are provided for the main bodybuilding competitions, as well as numerous other sports throughout the weekend.

Each year, LIVE! Technologies’ creates a masterfully designed set to enhance the IFBB competition, The Arnold Classic, on the Veteran’s Memorial Stage.

This year’s stage design featured Barco MiTRIX panels, creating a modular video wall that displayed each competitors name and custom motion graphics. The set included HD Element Lab Versa Tube towers and Colorweb for background depth. And for an added effect, panels of string curtain highlighted the stage.

Along with audio, video and lighting resources, LIVE! Technologies’ Creative Services department developed video presentations, event graphics and web design to complement the 3-day experience. Four separate LIVE! Technologies ENG crews gathered video footage, including a crew dedicated to capturing Governor Schwarzenegger’s appearances, throughout the weekend.
