Primary Role</strong></p>
<p>Responsible for the Fabrication, Maintenance, Service, and installation of equipment, as related to the event and rental production industry. Associate will cut, sand, build, construct, paint and repair wood product, build scenic/stage projects and assist in the fabrication and construction of sets on show sites. The Associate is responsible for completing projects in the most efficient and effective manner.<span id="more-140"></span></p>
<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p>

<li> Maintenance and service of equipment on an as needed and scheduled basis.</li>
<li> Custom Fabrication, Assembly, and finish work of wood, metal, and plastic products as related to Company business.</li>
<li> Troubleshooting and repair of Rental Production equipment.</li>
<li> Responsible for reading and interpreting set diagrams, construction drawings and designs of event layouts.</li>
<li> Responsible for operation of the following equipment: Table Saw, Drill Press, Miter Saw / Chop Saw, Router - Hand and Table, Air Tools - Fasteners, wrenches etc., Air Sprayers and Multi-meter.</li>
<li> Assist with preventive maintenance of customer equipment.</li>
<li> Respond to customer service related issues promptly</li>
<li> Responsible for accurate time sheet tracking, service/installation tickets, and inventory items.</li>
<li> Achieve working knowledge of Company Operation software, and work within such system on a day to day basis</li>
<li> Fully comply with Company and customer safety programs.</li>
<li> Work in a safe, positive manner showing respect to others and contributing to the LIVE! team.</li>
<li> Assist with and work Rental Production events on an as needed basis.</li>
<li> Assist in Service shop projects as needed.</li>
<li> Occasionally work on installation sites in assisting Project Managers.</li>

<p><strong>Accountability</strong><br />
The Associate will be accountable to the Fabrication Operations Manager, as well as accountability to the Director of RP and other management team members of the Company.</p>

<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong><br />
The successful candidate will have the ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time and lift and/or move equipment at least 60 pounds on a repetitive basis. The candidate must be able to lift equipment and construction supplies from floor height to over-head while loading/unloading trucks or preparing equipment for installations, service calls, and events. Candidate must have the ability to climb and work (stack, adjust, and repair) at heights in excess of 25&#8242; before, during, and after LIVE! job sites.</p>

<p><strong>PRIMARY ROLE</strong></p>
<p>The Design Engineering Associate is responsible for AV System. Information will include, Design-Build, Audio, Video, Theatrical Lighting, video Conferencing and integrated system information for proper operation.</p>
<p>The DE Associate will partner with Sales and Project Managers to assemble materials and labor estimate for proposals and bids, determine equipment quantities, pricing and labor to complete installation according to customer expectations and monitor project productivity and accuracy. With a knowledge of state-of-the-art integrated audio, video, lighting systems and digital signage this position will provide professional designs and systems engineering support required to take a turnkey system project from inception to completion and client acceptance.<span id="more-131"></span></p>
<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul class="unIndentedList">
<li> Perform comprehensive, audiovisual equipment bids for customers, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment rack setup-layout, system processing, plasma/LCD, projectors and projection systems, media rooms, audio hardware, speakers and computer control systems.</li>
<li> Participate and direct DE project meetings as needed.</li>
<li> Partner with Sales, Project Management Purchasing, Service, Fabrication to interpret project specifications and drawings, determine system layout, and develop bill of materials to include appropriate amount of job-related labor to perform the project, generate comprehensive project equipment lists and scope of work.</li>
<li> Prior to system design, provide project cost analysis documentation.</li>
<li> Manage a database of commonly installed equipment/systems for labor estimating and evaluation of actual vs. estimated labor utilization results or reports.</li>
<li> Provide drawings in various formats to customer or Sales Associates for presentation.</li>
<li> Conduct and document final drawing review processes.</li>
<li> Create and provide detailed project schedules and budgets for DE department and for projects.</li>
<li> Coordinate DE projects with Architects and Engineers.</li>
<li> Design building layouts, floor plans, rack elevations, consoles, etc. utilizing CAD.</li>
<li> Coordinate with vendors to research equipment and technology.</li>
<li> Review final testing/operation of projects.</li>
<li> Assist sales with client visits, presentations and in the preparation of proposals.</li>
<li> Maintain high-level of personal expertise in current and future technology.</li>
<li> Create, monitor and document DE technical standards and procedures.</li>
<li> Assist in training of new products, technologies, and DE procedures.</li>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<p>The Design Engineering Associate shall possess a four-year degree <span style="text-decoration: underline;">or</span> equivalent combination of education and related work experience in Audio Visual System Design. This position requires at least five years of medium to upper level experience in the system design of Audio, Video, lighting, systems its sub systems and production environments.</p>
<p>Should possess a working knowledge of equipment connectivity, wiring, electronics, operation, installation of professional Audio, Video and lighting. Must have experience reviewing bid documents for purposes of evaluating and preparing comprehensive bill of materials and scope of work descriptions.  Must possess superior interpersonal skills and be a team player with the ability to manage projects, multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to shifting priorities.  Must possess a strong sense of urgency. Strong experience with computerized design programs such, as AutoCAD, and/or Vector Works is a plus. Experience in other computer programs such, as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project or other project software is an advantage. Experience in the design of networked computer controlled systems and digital signage is a plus. The ability to work closely as a member of a team while at the same time having a high level of personal initiative to work without close supervision. Will interact directly with the client and senior management personnel as demanded by the project requirements.</p>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>

<li> This position requires: High school diploma or equivalent education.</li>
<li> Previous working and intimate knowledge/experience of controlling and operating audio equipment such as large and small format mixing consoles, front of house and monitors, chain hoists, flown and ground stacked sound reinforcement systems, amplifiers, signal flow, system processing, equalizers, effect units, gates, compressors, wiring, AC, power distribution units.</li>
<li> Must have the ability to use and understand various kinds of test equipment, tools, and meters such as volt, ohm, and amp meters.</li>
<li> Basic understanding of electrical audio principles, drawings, stage plots, and basic computer literacy is a plus.</li>
<li> Operational knowledge and understanding of digital mixing consoles is a plus.</li>
<li> Must have strong interpersonal skills, superior analytical, communicative, and problem-solving proficiencies to evaluate and solve problems in a timely manner.</li>

<p>The successful candidate will have the ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time and lift and/or move equipment at least 60 pounds on a repetitive basis. Qualifications include completion of an education in electronics repair and/or have 3 years of on the job / field experience component level repair work years. On the job, experience may include: military electronics repair and maintenance, repairing TVs, Camcorders, VCR, etc. Surface mount soldering, understanding of schematics, working knowledge of related tools and electronic test equipment is required. This professional may also have a successful record of accomplishment in the field of, analysis, calibration, and repair of pro-audio, video, and theatrical lighting equipment of electronic equipment, as it relates to the A/V and Lighting industry. Teamwork, organizational skills, and a valid and current drivers license are essential to this position. A deep understanding and knowledge of the professional systems integration and audio-visual industry is a plus.</p>
